Comprehensive Dentistry addresses our patients’ needs by conducting a thorough examination of all oral conditions that are present at the time of the exam. Because each patient is unique in the conditions that they present, we are able to offer customized solutions to concerns that you may present when you come to our office. One solution does not fit every patient.

After an initial assessment of the conditions found with each patient, we conduct a diagnostic review of the conditions in four broad areas. These include Periodontal (Gum Tissue) problems, Tooth problems, Bite & Function problems and Esthetic problems. As we analyze these four areas we begin to develop a diagnostic opinion of the conditions that are present.

In simple cases patients may only need minor hygiene care and a few restorations to restore dental health. In more complex cases patients may require more advanced periodontal care, extensive restorative dentistry, possibly orthodontics, possibly implants or extensive reconstruction. In the more complex cases we conduct a thorough diagnostic workup with a tool we developed called the 10 Step Diagnostic Checklist (hyperlink this to the Checklist). This provides the patient benefit of developing a roadmap for restoring our patient to a fully functioning, healthy and esthetic result.
