Dr. Bryan C. Edgar

Meet Dr. Bryan Edgar, who founded Edgar Family Dentistry in 1980 after graduating from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1976, completing a residency in General Dentistry and serving in the US Army dental corps for 4 years. He continued serving his country in the US Army Reserve until 2001 after completing an activation for Desert Storm and a Humanitarian Aid mission to Peru.

Dr. Edgar's emphasis is treating the comprehensive dentistry needs of his patients and he was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry's highest award, Mastership, to recognize the pursuit of a broad knowledge and experience in dentistry. In addition to treating patients full time, he serves as a volunteer to various organizations in dentistry and was a member of Washington's Dental Quality Assurance Commission for 9 years. He also serves as a Licensure Examiner for the Western Regional Examining Board who test dentists for licensure in the western United States. Most recently he served as the Chair of the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation and as the Secretary-Treassurer of the Washington State Dental Association. For his commitment and compassion to dentistry, Dr. Edgar has been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Academy of General Dentistry.

During his free time he enjoys reading, golf, and combing the beaches of Hawaii.
